Friday nights just got a whole lot more fun in Norwalk
The Wall Street Theater invites you to its “Drive-In Outdoor Concert Series” in the parking lot behind the theater at 23 Isaacs St. Connecticut-based band Mullett is the first headliner, performing Friday, Sept. 18. (The location was originally the rooftop of the Sono Collection mall, but was changed.)
Upcoming concerts will include a second Connecticut band, Badboy, Friday, Sept. 25. Two Massachusetts-based groups follow, with Back in Black playing Friday, Oct. 2, and The Breakers performing Friday, Oct. 9. Gates open at 5 p.m. and the music starts at 7:30.
Suzanne Cahill, owner of The Wall Street Theater, said she’s excited to present this socially-distanced entertainment series. “We are a community that shares a love for music and the arts,” she said, “and now we can come together under sunset skies to celebrate live music once again.”
A general admission ticket covers parking for one car plus space for up to six occupants. Tickets must be purchased in advance at wallstreettheater.com. The price is $120 for Mullett, $99 for Badboy, $99 for Back in Black and $120 for The Breakers.
“COVID-19 protocols in effect including masks when leaving designated parking spaces,” the website says. Craft beer by New Belgium Brewing will be available onsite. “Each car must have designated driver who will be wristbanded.”
