#ThrowbackThursday is part of an ongoing series highlighting the culture of Connecticut (and the country) throughout the past few decades.
For this week's #TBT, we are jumping back in time to life in the factories of Connecticut.
Factories were a booming business in Connecticut as supplies were necessary to help aid American soldiers in overseas wars. Whether it was General Electric, or Remington Arms, millions of Connecticut residents found a new way of life when factories opened across the state.
However, as more old and decrepit factories are torn down across the state, we will take this time to remember how life was way back then.
Check out life in Connecticut's factories during the 19th and 20th centuries.
