Norwalk PD reminds public of $50K reward in 2006 killing

NORWALK — City detectives are reminding residents of a $50,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person, or persons, responsible for a homicide from 2006.

The reward is being offered by the State of Connecticut.

Laray “Mookie” Moore was gunned down on June 29, 2006, at the Roodner Court Public Housing Complex, in front of an estimated 100 people, police said in 2008.

“People know who did this,” his mother, Yvonne Moore, told Hearst Connecticut Media in 2016. “It hurts me because the person who did this could be speaking to me every day.”
