The Greater New Milford Chamber of Commerce hosted its 20th annual Crystal Winter Gala Feb. 10 at the Amber Room Colonnade in Danbury. The black-tie optional dinner-dance featured an open bar, a cocktail hour, dinner, dessert and an artisan hot chocolate station, as well as a silent auction, wine pull and balloon pop fundraisers and music provided by a disc jockey.
Bonnie Blackmanwas recognized posthumously with the chamber’s Lifetime Achievement Award, and Webster Bank was presented the chamber’s Business of the Year Award. U.S. Sen. Richard Blumenthal presented Blackman’s family and Webster Bank with Certificates of Recognition from the U.S. Senate. Gala emcee Darren Piper was honored with a plaque in recognition for his service and leadership as board president.
