STRATFORD — A brush fire briefly closed the right lane of Interstate 95 north through Stratford Saturday afternoon.
Firefighters responded for a report of a brush fire between exits 31 and 32 around 2:40 p.m.
Within minutes, two fire engines were on scene, blocking the right lane of traffic, according to state Department of Transportation cameras in the area of the reported brush fire.
The right lane of traffic remained closed between the exits as the firefighters worked. The engines cleared from the scene minutes before 3 p.m.
There were no injuries reported. There were some residual delays in the area because of the lane closure.
